Dr. Masood graduated from California School of Podiatric Medicine at the top of his class in 2016. He then entered a 3 year surgical residency at Lourdes hospital under the tutelage of Dr. Guido Laporta. During his residency, Dr. Masood undertook an extended rotation at the International center for limb lengthening in Baltimore, MD, where he learned techniques in limb lengthening and advanced charcot reconstruction techniques under the guidance of Dr. John Herzenberg, Dr. Christopher Bibbo, Dr. Noamn Siddiqui.
Dr. Masood determined to focus the remainder of his training learning Minimal Incision Surgery. This powerful technique allows for the correction of even very complex deformities through a small incision. This decreases pain, reduces tissue damage and allows for a faster recovery. Dr. Masood went on to graduate from his residency with almost 3x times the number of surgical cases required to graduate from the surgical training program. He has had the honor of being presented at conferences on the minimal incision surgical techniques.
