Dr. Hallman graduated from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016. He then entered a 3-year surgical residency in Chicago at Swedish Covenant Hospital under the tutelage of Dr. Jason Kalk. His residency program provided him with comprehensive training in many aspects of foot and ankle surgery. During his time as a resident, he took primary foot and ankle call, which facilitated his proficiency in treating a wide range of podiatric emergencies. His comprehensive multi-disciplinary training also included the following rotations: Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Medicine, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Radiology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, and Pathology.
During his residency, Dr. Hallman had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident. While in residency, Dr. Hallman undertook the task of completing a Master of Science in Health Administration in 2017 from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and was presented with the Upsilon Phi Delta National Honor Health Care Management Society Award. Dr. Hallman has had over 5 years of experience treating wounds and holds board certification from the American Board of Wound Management as a Certified Wound Specialist.
Opportunities such as serving as the chief resident, a Masters in Health Administration, becoming wound certified and prior military experience has allowed Dr. Hallman to acquire unique skills that have made him a well-rounded and qualified podiatrist.
